Nemeiben Lake - Campground

Nemeiben Lake, 19 (28E, 23NE) is one of the most popular and busiest campgrounds in the park. Its setting on Nemeiben Lake, across the road from Lac La Ronge, is predominantly pine forest. Showers, flush toilets, hot-and-cold-water sinks. There's a short (1.5 km) but very pretty interpretive trail that offers context for the boreal forest, rock outcrops and muskeg encountered during the walk. The beach is tiny, but it does have a nice little creative playground. Limited wheelchair access, boat launch, fishing, major credit cards, telephone and showers.

Nut Point Campground, Lac La Ronge Provincial Park

Nut Point, 1 (28 E, 59 NE) is a well-treed camping area located on a peninsula reaching out into Lac La Ronge. There's a 15-kms (one way) hiking trail out to the end of the point and a nine-hole, grass-green golf course five minutes away by car. Showers, boat launch, major credit cards, limited wheelchair access, telephone. Many amenities are available in the nearby town.

Wadin Bay Campground, Lac La Ronge Provincial Park

Wadin Bay, 27 (19E, 38NE, group camping available) is situated on Lac La Ronge. If you prefer a quieter camping experience, this is a good choice. Wadin is designed in a series of loops swinging through areas dominated by different species of trees (birch, aspen, willow, pine), with each loop featuring several lake-view sites at its base. Two sandy beaches (the southerly one is larger and features a good playground and culvert style barbecue pits) make it a good day-trip destination from anywhere in the park. Limited wheelchair access, boat launch, fishing, cross-country skiing, major credit cards, telephone and showers.
