Snowflake tea The annual Snowflake
Tea and Craft Sale offered
area residents another opportunity
to shop locally
at Gordon Denny Community
School (GDCS)
Sat. Dec. 5.
Works of art took on
many forms; wood carving;
painting; beadwork,
jewelry, handknit and crochet
items, quilting, a wide
variety of holiday decorations
and food of many
fl avours, such as bannock,
bread cakes and cookies.
This reporter even found
some homemade fudge.
Other venues included
clothes for babies, cooking
utensils, environmentally
friendly cleaning equipment,
natural medicines
and much more.
Children also had an
opportunity to sit on Santa’s
knee and make their
requests, while getting
their pictures taken for the
family photo album along
with family and friends.
And, when you got tired
of shopping, you could sit
in the café and enjoy a
cup of tea or coffee, some
dainties and some good
conversation.
