The body of a 30-year-old man was found with injuries at a gas station and pizzeria parking lot in Sherbrook on Saturday morning.
At 8:40 a.m., Sherbrooke police received a call from a citizen that a respectable man in his thirties had fainted and was lying on the ground in the parking lot on Dunant Street.
Resurrection maneuvers were carried out first by police officers who arrived at the scene and later by paramedics and firefighters. Despite that, he died at the scene.
Investigation
“The investigation was opened to establish the cause and circumstances of the death because the victim had obvious injuries,” said police relative Benoit Beller.
He noted Registration “All traces are under investigation at this time.”
The victim is not known to police.
The Criminal Investigation Department, the Forensic Identity Service and the patrol police are trying to shed light on the circumstances of the death.
