Within hours of receiving his motorcycle license on Tuesday, a 16-year-old man was attacked by a young driver who fled police in Saint-Ambroise-de-Kildare.

“My boy was stolen from me. I’m shocked, ”said the teenager’s father, whose identity is protected by a release ban.
The tragedy occurred at 8:30 pm in this small municipality of about 4,000 souls located in the heart of Lanaudiere.
His son was riding his brand new 250 cc motorcycle on the road to Sainte-Béatrix when he was hit by a car.
Ludovic Klavet, who was driving it, suddenly accelerates to escape from the police who detain him for a fake license plate that reads “Thaparnak”.
The force of the impact seriously injured the young man on the motorcycle and 16 people traveling in the vehicle. Both died within hours of being admitted to hospital. Clovet suffered a minor injury.

His vehicle was towed Wednesday and will be valued by Montreal Police.
The victim, who was driving a small motorcycle, had obtained a license a few hours earlier.
“He was so happy,” his sister whispered.
“He walked all afternoon,” his father said. He went to see one of his friends in Saint-Sulpice, where he went to dinner with his mother. He had his motorcycle and he was stumbling. ⁇
His son, who completed his fourth secondary education, was significantly nominated for Person of the Year for his level.
“Everyone loved him,” Dad repeated several times.
Interested in the sport, he played hockey from an early age and excelled in skiing and scouting.
“But he was very humble. He did not take himself for another. He showed no arrogance,” said his father, who retired from physical education.
For his part, Ludovic Clovet appeared in Joliet Court on Wednesday afternoon.
He has been charged with driving a dangerous vehicle to death and driving a plane.
