Review after review and guide after guide, Apple devices tend to come out on top in our testing. While Apple may announce new iPhones, Apple Watches, and/or AirPods at its annual hardware event in the fall, one of the things we love about the company’s devices is their longevity. So anything you buy today should serve you well for years to come, especially with upcoming software updates.

Now that Amazon Prime Day 2024 is here, we’re seeing a ton of great Prime Day deals to choose from (except for iPhones and HomePods). So if you’re thinking about buying a MacBook, iPad, Apple Watch, or a pair of AirPods, these best Prime Day deals are a good place to start.

As with all of Engadget’s tech deals, we only highlight discounts on gear we’ve tested or used and know is worth your money. We’ve compared our guides and reviews to Amazon’s Prime Day deals to come up with what you see here. We’ll be updating our summaries of these deals throughout the two days of Amazon’s Prime Day sales.

Last Apple Watch The iPhone 11 Pro Max is down to $280 on Prime Day, down from $399. The Series 9 was announced during Apple’s iPhone event last fall, and there’s a good chance we’ll see a new model this year, but it’s unlikely to be this affordable.

The Apple Watch Series 9 is our favorite smartwatch overall, and it’s our top pick for the Apple Watch, scoring 92 points in our review. It’s great at tracking health and fitness, has a bright always-on display, and integrates seamlessly with your iPhone. This fall, it’ll also get fun new updates with watchOS 11, which Apple announced at WWDC.

the Apple Watch SE This is one of the more budget models in the lineup, and it’s now down to $170. It was selling for $189 for most of the past few months. We recommend it for people looking for excellent iPhone notification integration and robust health tracking capabilities. It doesn’t have all the sensors found in the Apple Watch Series 9, but as we mentioned in our review, you get a lot of features for the money.

Prime Day Released Latest Version AirPods Pro They’re down to $170 from their list price of $249. They’ve been regularly hitting $189 over the past few months, and $180 is the lowest we’ve seen previously. The AirPods Pro are the current top recommendation for iOS users in our best earbuds guide thanks to their excellent Transparency mode, seamless iPhone and Siri integration, and powerful noise cancellation. They’ll soon get an update that lets you nod or shake your head to answer Siri questions.

the AirPods 3rd Generation They’re now down to a record low of $120, down from their full price of $169. We gave them an 88 in our review thanks to their improved design and sound. Note that they have an older chip and lack active noise cancellation, but they’re waterproof and more expensive than the Pro model.

Apple Over-Ear Headphones, AirPods Max These products are currently priced at $394, down from their listed price of $549. The lowest price we tracked before that was $430. These products received an 84 score in our review when they were released in 2020.

The main caveat was the price, but we enjoyed the excellent, balanced sound as well as the active noise cancellation (ANC) feature. We got 20 hours of use from the headphones on a single charge, just as Apple promised.

We called the new iPad Air our “must-have iPad” in our review this month, and it’s the Apple tablet we recommend to most people in our buyer’s guide. The new iPad Air has an M2 chip that makes it fast enough for everyday productivity and lets it handle more than just casual entertainment. The screen is bright and clear, and thankfully the camera has been moved to a horizontal edge.

Apple launched two new iPad Pro sizes, each with the company’s latest M4 chip, in May. Currently, the Pro tablet is the only Apple device to feature the company’s latest silicon. On Prime Day, you can get iPad Pro 11 inch 256GB The storage capacity is $919, down from its original price of $999. Some people may see a $20 coupon they can clip which will lower the price even further.

the 13 inch model With the same capacity, the price drops to $1,198 instead of the full $1,299 sticker. Before that, the biggest discounts we’d seen were $70 and $100 off the models, respectively. We were impressed by the iPad Pro’s stunning display and incredibly powerful performance, as you can see in our review, but we called it “incredibly expensive.” This discount might change things up a bit.

The standard iPad wasn’t replaced during Apple’s iPad event in May, so iPad 10th generation This is still the latest release. It was priced at $299 on Prime Day, the lowest on record. The iPad Mini is our pick for one-handed use in our iPad guide and is best for those who want something they can easily slip into a bag or use as a capable e-reader.

Apple keeps 2022 M2 Compatible MacBook Air This one is still available right now — and that’s a good thing. We think it’s the best budget MacBook you can buy. Right now, on Prime Day, the 8GB RAM/256GB model is $799. That beats Apple’s $999 price. It has a bright display, powerful performance, and a thin, portable design.

The latest MacBook Air models with the M3 chip have dropped to $850 13 inch model and $1049 15 inch sizeBefore that, the lowest prices we tracked were $899 and $1,129, respectively. Apple launched the new MacBook Air models in March, and as we noted in our review , they’re not much different from the previous generation — though that’s not a bad thing. The 13-inch version remains our top recommendation for most people in our buying guide.

We think these are the best Bluetooth trackers you can buy if you’re an iPhone user. They rely on Apple’s extensive Find My network, which connects to every nearby iPhone to anonymously locate an AirTag. We found their location features to be eerily accurate.
