Cowboys top NFL team value at .32 billion, Sportico reports

The Dallas Cowboys haven’t won a Super Bowl since star quarterback Dak Prescott was 2 1/2 years old.

The last championship came on January 28, 1996. Several fruitless seasons followed for “Team America,” but the team’s failure to win another Lombardi Trophy did not diminish its overall value.

Sportico released its valuations of the top 10 NFL franchises on Tuesday, and the Cowboys topped the list at $10.32 billion. They became the first sports franchise to surpass a $10 billion valuation.

Forbes valued the Cowboys at $9 billion in September.

The Los Angeles Rams ($7.79 billion) ranked second on the list compiled by Sportico, followed by the New York Giants ($7.65 billion), New England Patriots ($7.31 billion) and San Francisco 49ers ($6.86 billion).

The NFL East’s rivals, the New York Jets ($6.8 billion) and the Miami Dolphins ($6.76 billion), are sixth and seventh, respectively, on the list. The final two NFL East representatives, the Philadelphia Eagles ($6.75 billion) and Washington Commanders ($6.3 billion), are eighth and 10th, respectively, alongside the Las Vegas Raiders ($6.7 billion).

According to Sportico, the combined value of the 32 NFL teams is $190 billion, including team-related businesses and real estate owned by the owners.
