On Wednesday in the Lock-Saint-Charles sector north of Quebec, an unruly man allegedly killed a private citizen who wanted to intervene to put an end to the misconduct he was committing in vehicles.

A 65-year-old man was seriously injured on Thibodeau Street in Lac-Saint-Charles.

His abused body was found on the ground between Haman and Bouchard streets around 4 p.m.

At the same time, motorists saw several patrol vehicles speeding north on the Laurentian Highway in response to an emergency call.

The suspect kicked him

“I saw the suspect sitting on the victim who was kicking the body. Those around shouted that it was dangerous. I did not see the beginning of the scene, but it ended because my neighbor was already dead, ”a witness explained.

Arrest

The 30-year-old suspect was found within minutes of the crime scene. He was immediately arrested by police. The relationship between the two individuals has not been clarified.

The deceased was not sent to the hospital center. A total of three people were taken to hospital.

The suspect, two people were treated for behavioral disorders and trauma. Serious charges will be filed soon if his health permits.

SPVQ received several calls from citizens to report the attack. So many witnesses are to be questioned.

Mobile Command Post and forensic identification technicians were on site in the evening.
