‘General Hospital’ Johnny Wactor GoFundMe created by grandmother to support loved ones after fatal shooting

Johnny Wactor, ex Public Hospital The actor, who was shot and killed on Saturday, has set up a GoFundMe to help support his loved ones.

Wactor’s mother, Scarlett Wactor, supported the crowdfunding effort initiated by her friend and Johnny’s godmother, Michelle Kennard.

“I want to raise money for his mother, Scarlett, and his brothers, Lance and Grant so that they can travel 2,000 miles (as many times as it would take) to take care of this heartbreaking act they were condemned to,” it reads. GoFundMe page.

The fundraiser has a goal of raising $100,000, with more than $35,000 raised as of this post.

Kennard noted that “any excess donations” will be “donated to the charity of the family’s choice in Johnny’s memory.”

Wactor’s godmother said she was “absolutely heartbroken” and added: “Somehow, we need justice for Johnny!”

“God willing, the killer will be caught and his family will meet him face to face. This may help bring an end to this tragedy,” Kennard added.

Wactor was fatally shot after finishing a shift in downtown Los Angeles. He was reportedly walking with a female co-worker when he noticed three men trying to steal a catalytic converter from his car.

According to Wactor’s brother Grant, Public Hospital The alum saw the robbers and asked if he was being dragged.

“He ran into them and thought his truck was being towed. So he said something to the guys, like, ‘Hey, are you towing?’ daily Mail. “Then as soon as he turned around, he saw what was happening and put his co-worker behind him. That’s when they shot him.”

Wactor appeared on the ABC series between 2020 and 2022 as Brando Corbin.
