Govt-19: Boundary controls will be maintained till the end of June

Canada on Tuesday decided to maintain border controls related to COVID-19 until at least the end of June.

In doing so, Health Canada and the Public Health Agency of Canada were briefly reminded that “all travelers, regardless of their vaccination status, must continue to submit their information through the free application or website using #ArriveCAN”.

Under current rules, all foreign tourists visiting Canada must prove that they have been fully vaccinated, having received at least two doses of the vaccine against COVID-19.

Canadians and permanent residents can enter Canada even if they have not been vaccinated, but must first be tested for Covit-19 to make sure they are not infected by the time they arrive. Come back to the country. They should always isolate themselves for 14 days after arriving in Canada.

The extension comes as provinces withdrew almost all of their compulsory health measures, with some exceptions, such as the mandatory wearing of masks on public transport or at health facilities in Quebec.
