iPhone users complain Apple’s autocorrect is ‘ruining their lives’

What happens to the duck?

iPhone users are furious about Apple’s latest iOS update, accusing autocorrect of “ruining their lives.”

Dissatisfied iPhone users took to Twitter to voice their complaints about the upgrade, claiming that the latest update incorrectly changes words in texts and alters correctly typed words for no reason.

The iOS 16.3.1 upgrade was released last month to provide “important bug fixes and security updates,” according to the site.

However, users say it’s more of a hindrance than a help.

“Autocorrect on iPhones hasn’t been this bad since the original iPhone,” one user tweeted.

Others claim that the phone automatically adds a ‘z’ after apostrophes instead of an ‘s’ and another user claimed that ‘autocorrect will embarrass you’.

“I’m not trying to sound dramatic but iPhone autocorrect is literally ruining my life,” one user stated.

“Is this me or is iPhone autocorrect really terrible? It keeps correcting correctly spelled words to a better meaning (i.e. from food to good) even if I spell it correctly?” another complained.

Several users tweeted that they autocorrected common words to men’s names.

“Why did the iPhone barely autocorrect Barry WTF,” someone wrote, while another claimed that “men” had changed to “ken.”

“This damn autocorrect on my iPhone is getting me in trouble,” the user joked.
