QB captain Carson Wentz suffered a broken finger in ‘TNF’ win against the Bears

Washington quarterback leaders Carson WentzA tough week continues.

The QB captain sustained a broken finger in his hand which he threw at 12-7 win over Opposite the Chicago Bears, NFL’s Ian Rapoport and Mike Garavolo reported Saturday, according to sources.

After Washington’s victory on Thursday, Wentz told reporters that his hand was feeling some pain.

“It hurts a little,” Wentz said of his right hand. “I think I’ll be fine…the cold conditions didn’t necessarily help the jammed fingers. Everything was fine.”

Rapoport added that Wentz is now heading to Los Angeles to see a hand specialist to determine his next move, and his availability to move forward is up in the air.
