The fake billionaire is still accused of cheating on the women he allegedly seduced

A bogus millionaire who was once accused of fraud has allegedly done it again after fooling at least three women who were lured in by seductive promises.

Serge Rivard — who previously identified himself as Danny Langevin, Danny Carbonneau, Danny Gauthier, Adam Quintal, Christian Leroux, Enzo Moretti and Jean-François Savoie — was arrested in Montreal on Dec. 21 for racketeering for crimes he allegedly committed in April 2022.

The Saint-Jan-sur-Richelieu police department confirms that the 58-year-old man may have had at least one victim in his territory. Our intelligence bureau identified two more in the past few days in the Saint-Hyacinthe and Saint-Eustache areas.

According to our information, Serge Rivard would use the Badoo dating site to contact his victims, again using false names. He then quickly poses as a millionaire heiress and business owner and promises his victims houses, cars and trips.

In order to extract thousands of dollars from these vulnerable women, he pretended to have no access to her finances and bank accounts for a period of time.

Detained, the 50-year-old is due back in court this week for a bail hearing.
