Donna Kelsey lets small businesses use her famous cookie recipe on cups

Soccer mom Donna Kelce not only shows her love for her sons — Kansas City Chiefs running back Travis Kelce and Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce — on game days, but she also supports Kansas elementary school kids.

After Kelsey, 71, bought 20 mugs that said “It's Mama Kelsey's World and We All Live In It” for Christmas gifts from the Kansas City area. Small business annie barnThe owner reached out to Kelce to collaborate on making a new mug for charity.

“After Donna Venmo contacted me, I sent her a thank you note and asked if I could put her cookie recipe on a mug and donate $5 for every mug sold to pay off her elementary school lunch debt — and she said yes,” Annie Stowe, 59, said. .,” People says, referring to the famous chocolate chip cookies Kelsey made for Travis and Jason before they both played in the 2023 Super Bowl.

Donna is currently in Las Vegas — along with Jason and other relatives (and perhaps soon, Travis' superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift) — to watch Travis & the Chiefs battle the San Francisco 49ers for the Super Bowl title.

She previously told PEOPLE that her chocolate chip cake recipe is “an absolute favorite of mine and the whole family” and that she hopes others will enjoy it as much as we have over the years and gather in the kitchen with their families “and my friends to bake it, just like I do with my friends.”

This is the recipe that Donna allowed Annie's Barn to use on the cups:

• 1½ cups sweet cream butter (3 sticks)
• 1 ½ cup packed light brown sugar
• 1 cup white sugar
• 1 large egg + 1 egg yolk
• 1 tablespoon. Vanilla extract
• 1 teaspoon. Baking soda (dissolved in 2 tablespoons hot water to activate; microwave water first and stir in baking soda until dissolved)
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 cup cake or pastry flour
• 1 teaspoon. baking powder
• 1 teaspoon. cinnamon
• 1½ teaspoon. salt
• 1 cup white chocolate chips
• 1 cup milk chocolate
• 1 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Donna made headlines in February 2023 when her two NFL sons competed against each other in Super Bowl LVII also known as the Kelce Bowl. The Chiefs won the championship game 38-35.
