A call to 911 at 4:20 a.m. Sunday reported her injured. “When the police arrived at the scene, they found the victim in the house where she had taken shelter. “She was knocked unconscious and injured in the upper body by the projectile,” said Caroline Chevrefils, spokeswoman for the Montreal Metropolitan Police Service (SPVM). The victim was taken to the hospital, but his life is not feared. “The victim has a criminal record,” an SPVM spokesperson confirmed, while reports said the woman was known to police sources.
