Baldur’s Gate 3 dominates the Golden Joystick Awards and wins Game of the Year

This year’s Golden Joystick Awards are over, with Baldur’s Gate 3 the big winner. The blockbuster RPG took home the overall ‘Ultimate Game of the Year’ award, beating out the likes of Alan Wake 2, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Final Fantasy 16, and many more. The world-famous Larian title also took the win six Other categories. It seems that a single game receiving seven awards is a new record.

From a PlayStation perspective, other notable winners include Resident Evil 4 (Best PlayStation Game of the Year), Horizon Call of the Mountain (Best VR Game), Final Fantasy 16 (Best Sound and Best Performance), and Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty (Best Game ).
