‘Beetlejuice 2’ movie set robbed as thieves take on iconic statue – Deadline

The movie is set for beetle 2 In Vermont she was robbed and the authorities are still looking for the culprit.

Vermont State Police shared a post on X with photos of the sculptural piece that was stolen from the film’s set in East Corinth.

“We tried saying the name of that stolen statue three times, but it didn’t come back!” Vermont State Police joked in a July 21 post.

The X post continued, “We are investigating the theft of this 150-pound statue from… beetle 2 Set in E. Corinth, along with a lamppost topped with a gourd decoration. ”

The police asked the public to contact them with any information regarding the burglary.

Lovers 1988 Beetlejuice The movie may recognize the statue, which was stolen because it was a creation of Delia Deetz (Katherine O’Hara).

Tim Burton returns to direct Beetlejuice The sequel is, as of now, set to open on September 6, 2024, but that could change due to WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Michael Keaton is set to reprise his role and will be joining him Wednesday Jenna Ortega.

Mike Alfred Goff and Miles Millar are attached to write the screenplay with Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg also serving as producers. Tommy Harper, Plan B, Mark Tobroff, and David Geffen are also producing.

Other actors set to board the sequel include Willem Dafoe and Justin Theroux with original cast members Winona Ryder and O’Hara also joining the line-up.
