Israeli occupation forces have arrested more than 7,000 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank since October 7, according to the latest statistics issued by the Palestinian Prisoners’ Affairs Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club.
The detainee figures – which include those who have since been released – include 220 women and 440 children, while 53 journalists were also arrested during that period. The report stated that at least eight Palestinians died inside Israeli prisons.
