Kat Von D is baptized into Christianity in a touching video

Kat Von D was baptized into Christianity a year after she renounced the occult.

The tattoo artist and former makeup mogul, 41, shared a video of the church ceremony attended by dozens of her tattooed friends – captioning the clip with a simple cross.

Kat – who has been known for her gothic and macabre style throughout her career – appeared in the video wearing a simple white robe while participating in an immersion baptism.

The priest said: “Catherine von Drachenberg, based on your confession of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in obedience to His divine commandment, I baptize you, my sister, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.”

She was then fully submerged in water before emerging from the water and hugging her pastor.

“Today, I went through my entire library, getting rid of books that didn’t align with who I am and who I want to be.

“I’ve always found beauty in the macabre, but at this point, I had to ask myself, ‘What is my relationship to this content?’ The truth is, I don’t want to invite any of this stuff into our family’s lives, even if it comes disguised in beautiful covers, gathering dust on my shelves.
