Quebec Solitaire during its National Council meeting on Saturday promised to double the number of working weeks per year for workers.

“It’s time for us to move away from the old view of the economy that we thought prosperous because of employee fatigue.
Studies show that leisure has a positive effect on productivity. “According to a 2014 study, for every 10 hours of vacation employees take, their efficiency increases by 8%. This action should have a positive impact on non-attendance and attendance rates,” Quebec Solitaire said in a statement.
The political party has promised to give all workers at least 4 weeks of vacation a year after one year of retirement.
