Student accused of murdering two teachers at Swedish HS school

A teenage student allegedly murdered two high school teachers in southern Sweden on Monday – then called the police and confessed to the horrific attack.

The 18-year-old suspect allegedly carried out the killings on the third floor of the Malmö Latin School, located in the city of Malmö, at around 5pm while students had gathered in the building to work on a musical, according to police.

Police said the student was arrested after police found him near the two victims, two women in their fifties.

According to a report in Aftonbladet, it was the student who called the authorities and allegedly killed two people.

The report said he was armed with a knife and an ax when he was found.

Local police could not immediately confirm the newspaper’s account.

The student had no criminal record and it was not clear what caused the bloodshed.

“At the moment, it is too early to comment on that,” Malmö police chief Petra Stenkola said.
