Comedian Joe Koy was the Swifties' anti-hero at the Golden Globes on Sunday night.
During his opening monologue, Coy poked fun at the “Cruel Summer” singer herself, Taylor Swift, and she didn't seem to be amused.
“The big difference between the Golden Globes and the NFL? At the Golden Globes, we have fewer camera shots of Taylor Swift,” Coy joked. The camera then panned to Swift, who took a sip of her drink.
Swift, of course, was a huge fan of the NFL's Kansas City Chiefs, for which her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, plays. Its presence angered some NFL fans. In fact, Kelce himself said the NFL's coverage of Swift was “overrated.”
Either way, Swift was seen laughing later in the show at comedian Jim Gaffigan's joke, so it looks like the “Shake It Up” singer is still in good spirits.
Swift's film “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” was nominated for Golden Globe Achievement in Cinema and Box Office, which “Barbie” ultimately won.
