The PlayStation’s Project Q battery life might shock you

The PlayStation’s Project Q battery life might shock you

after taking YouTube in my first video In over a year of talking about the latest PlayStation demo, I mentioned a few small details about Project Q and battery life.

In case you weren’t aware, Insider Gaming exclusively reported in early April details of the new mobile device, where all the details paid off. Well, one detail left out of this report was the battery life of the mobile device.

Brace yourselves, because Insider Gaming understands that Project Q’s battery life will be around 3-4 hours. Yes, you read that right. At least the Project Q is on brand with the DualSense with a short battery life, I think.

If the retail version of Project Q already has 3-4 hours of battery life, it might be a hard sell to the mobile phone for Sony. People are already skeptical of its success, as the mobile device is only used with Remote Play.

In the end, I think Project Q’s success will depend on its price. The $200 price tag or less could see the accessory sell out in strong numbers, but PlayStation has been known for its high price tags on its products.

Whatever the case, we should hear more about Project Q soon. “We look forward to sharing more information in the near future,” said CEO Jim Ryan. The release is scheduled for “later this year,” said Jim Ryan, which Insider Gaming understands will be mid-late November 2023.
