The $1 billion Powerball game is still up for grabs after no ticket matched all six numbers, triggering the lottery's shot at a $1.09 billion jackpot in Wednesday's drawing.

If a player wins the jackpot in Wednesday's drawing, he or she will have a choice between an annual prize of $1.09 billion or a lump sum of $527.3 million.

Both award options are pre-tax.

If the winner chooses the annuity option, they will receive one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments that increase by five percent each year.
