Environment Canada predicts snow showers in the western parts of the province, especially in Outauais and Abitibi-Témiscamingue, where the risk of thunderstorms is not excluded.

Rain is also expected in Quebec and areas to the north, with 20 to 30 millimeters of rain expected by morning, when strong winds and gusts of 40 to 50 km/h will sweep the national capital.

But sectors of eastern Quebec will receive the heaviest rain, particularly Sept-Îles on the north shore, with up to 40 millimeters of rain, according to the federal agency’s forecasts.
