Even in the aftermath of an intense game, NBA stars Draymond Green and Nikola Jokic know how to have a good time.
The Warriors forward and Nuggets big man were seen scuffling together after Denver's 119-103 win over Golden State on Sunday at Chase Center — a light-hearted moment after the two veterans went head-to-head for four quarters.
But it was said? Green, of course He revealed it all on his podcast After the game. It turns out he was making a funny mockery of former Warriors teammate Andre Iguodala, who tried unsuccessfully to get Jokic on his podcast during the NBA All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis.
“What we were laughing about was I went up to him and said, ‘Hey, can you do my podcast?’” Green revealed on “The Draymond Green Show.” “I don't know if any of you have seen the Joker clip in All-Star where Andre Iguodala asks him about the podcast, and Joker runs away from him.
“So I was kind of highlighting that, and [Jokić] He said: Oh my God, I'm a bad person. Really bad person. This is what we were laughing about. I thought it was ridiculous. You've never seen the Joker on a podcast…if you've seen it, it's probably about horses; “It wasn't about the Denver Nuggets or no basketball.”
While it remains to be seen if Jokic might end up on Green's podcast, Iguodala is certainly out of luck.
Iguodala can't be blamed for making his shot, but Green had a great time mocking his former counterpart in the front court.
