Wii U receives its first system update for 2022, and here’s what’s included

Nintendo has released a new update for the Wii U, while patch notes suggest improvements to “general system stability” and several other minor tweaks.

Anyway, here’s what it looks like included in the 5.5.6 U update. This applies to both Wii U Deluxe and Basic models:

Version 5.5.6 N (August 29, 2022)

• System stability and usability improvements
  • Further improvements were made to overall system stability and other minor tweaks to improve the user experience.

In case you missed it, yesterday you marked the closure of prepaid cards on the Wii U eShop. This also applies to the 3DS system.
