From Wednesday to Thursday a drunk driver lost control of his vehicle and caused a horrific accident in the Dபெberger Sector area of Quebec City.

The incident took place at 12:36 p.m.
The 23-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle and skidded and crashed into two vehicles and an apartment building.

However, unlike his 26-year-old passenger who sustained minor injuries, he was not injured.

The young man, who was taken to the police station because he showed signs of intoxication, “blew” twice as much into his blood as allowed.

“The suspect has been detained and may appear this morning,” said David Bytross, a spokesman for the Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ).

He faces charges of reckless driving and reckless driving.
