Four fires in Saint-Roch: arson arrested by SPVQ

The Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ) arrested a suspect last night in connection with four fires in the Saint-Roch district.

As per available information, no injuries or damages were reported in the fire.

Forensic identification technicians were called to the scene.

“We are continuing our investigation,” said SPVQ spokesman David Pelletier.

The fire reportedly spread within minutes. Mr. According to Pelletier, we are talking about, among other things, getting a fire started in waste quickly under control.

“Some fires do not require firefighters to put out. No one was injured,” he said.

The fire commissioner is also investigating.

SPVQ has doubts about these events. He may appear in a Quebec court.

Currently, the investigation is ongoing. Some fires still required the intervention of firefighters.
