Four people, including three children, were injured in the Toronto shooting

A one-year-old boy was shot dead, while a five-year-old girl, an 11-year-old boy and a 23-year-old man were injured, Toronto Superintendent of Police Ron Taverner said.

Paramedics said one in three children was in critical condition, one in critical condition and the other with minor injuries.

Paramedics previously said five people were injured, but police said the number was actually four.

They were called to the scene just before 8pm in the Rextale neighborhood.

“Obviously this is a horrible scene. It’s amazing this kind of thing is happening,” Ron Taverner told reporters at the scene of the play.

Police are searching for several suspects.

“At the moment, we are making interpretations of the suspects and at this time we can not provide anything definite,” said the Toronto Superintendent of Police.

Ron Taverner added that “those who were shot did not appear to be particularly targeted” and that “they were there and were shot by gunmen”. ”

Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to come.

“It’s a tragedy,” said Inspector Kelly Skinner. “Three children were shot dead here tonight. We need your help. ”
