Kate Middleton visited High Down Prison suffering from a mysterious hand injury on Tuesday morning.

Kensington Palace revealed that the injury, which resulted in a bandage wrapped around two fingers, was the result of her playing on the trampoline with her children. A spokesman added It is a “minor injury” and “not serious.”

The Princess of Wales, 41, who is mother to Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, was visiting the prison as part of her role as patron of the Forward Trust, to see how prisoners and their families are coping.
