Starfield delayed to September 6th, Starfield Direct set to June 11th

starfield Publisher Bethesda Softworks and developer Bethesda Game Studios have announced that the Xbox and PC series will launch on September 6, a delay from the previously planned “first half of 2023” release window.

Here’s a message from game director Todd Howard regarding the announcement:

Hey everyone, from myself and everyone here at Bethesda, we’re so excited to finally tell you… starfield come out this year.

“We put ourselves in this game and even I’m amazed at how much we can pump – it’s big. We play the game all the time – exclaims here to lead producer Tim Lamb. Old school fans, you may remember him from amnesia Made the video where he sits on a similar couch doing similar things.

“But also, this June, we’re going to bring you into the studio, and we’re going to give you an in-depth look at the game at our site.”starfield direct.’ There is so much we still have to show you. The game has many of the distinct features that you would expect from us, but it is also a very unique experience.

And once again, thank you all for all your enthusiasm about the game – your support and feedback, we really do read it all. Look, we know you’ve waited a long time to play something new from us.
