Victoria Beckham is finally performing with the Spice Girls again after years of disagreement

LONDON – Victoria Beckham has long refused to participate in any Spice Girls reunion and only this month shot down rumors that the band would get back together for a one-off show.

But the hype queen – who helped turn her footballer husband David into a global icon – came up with the perfect way to headline her 50th birthday bash in London by joining her former bandmates on stage for the last time.

It was one of the most exclusive shows of the year, with only about 40 guests reportedly invited to the black-tie party at Oswald's Members' Club, including Tom Cruise, Eva Longoria and Gordon Ramsay.

David Beckham became a photographer himself the moment Victoria joined Geri Halliwell, Mel B, Mel C and Emma Bunton on stage to sing '90s hit 'Stop'. He posted a clip on Instagram that included footage of himself with his mouth wide open in shock. He added the caption: “I mean come on x”

The clip showed that Posh, Ginger, Scary, Sporty and Baby still pretty much remembered the choreography even if Victoria herself still seemed a bit hesitant to actually sing.

Famously, she refused to join the rest of the band, which reunited in 2019 for a money-making reunion tour. The last time they all performed together was at the closing ceremony of the London Olympics in 2012.

Following rumors that the band might play the “Legends” slot at Glastonbury, Radio France asked Victoria earlier this month If they're going to do anything to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary, “We're having a group chat. I'm talking to all the girls. It would be nice for us to do something to celebrate – dinner or lunch – and reminisce. But yeah, it won't be more than that.”

Tabloid reports suggest the former band members have fallen out of favor in recent years after endless reports of feuds between Victoria and Mel B, and then more recently Mel B and Geri, have filled British magazines and newspapers for decades.

The Sun reports that “there wasn't a dry eye in the house” on Saturday night as the bandmates joined a handful of A-list stars and the growing Beckham clan to reminisce, pay tribute and crack a few jokes about Victoria.
