Two minors and a major suspect have been arrested in connection with the attacks in Maréchal-Joffre Park in Lévis.

The events took place on July 3 when two groups of youths were in the park.

One suspect then sprays one victim with cayenne pepper, then another man points a pellet gun and fires projectiles at the second victim, according to the Lewis Township Police Department.

The three suspects have been charged with pointing a firearm, aggravated assault, reckless use of a firearm, threatening to cause a riot, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and conspiracy.

The home of one of the suspects was raided, which made it possible to seize evidence confirming the crimes, Lewes police noted.
