Drew Barrymore had a scary encounter while giving a talk in New York City this week.

However, within a couple of seconds, it became clear that something was amiss as the individual quickly rushed towards the base of the stage where Drew and Renee were sitting.
As he got closer, the person continued talking and introduced himself as Chad Michael Busto, adding, “You know who I am. I want to see you sometime while you’re in New York.”
At this, security quickly stopped him, while Renee stood up and escorted Drew from the stage, apparently trying to shield her from the commotion.
The audience was stunned into silence, left confused for a few moments before a member of staff took to the stage and apologized, “Hi everyone, sorry about that. Just give us a minute.”
Fortunately, Drew and Renee resumed their conversation soon after, and the two were able to briefly recap the strange experience.
“Well, I have a new definition of your sexual attractiveness, it’s this level of protection,” Drew told Renee, highlighting how quickly she stepped in. Personal guard. You are my Kevin Costner!
In contrast, Renee also praised Drew’s professionalism when she returned to the stage so quickly.
