Sylvain Willamire is serving 18 years in prison

It is one of the harshest punishments for child sex offenses in Quebec.

Sylvain Willamire has already been sentenced to 13 years in prison, considering the time he has spent in custody.

Willameyer has been convicted since 2014 after bringing an eight-year-old boy from Ivory Coast to Montreal for a good education.

When he was her bodyguard, he repeatedly sexually harassed her, threatening to deport her if she did not obey his wishes.

From the age of 8 to 11, the girl, who was banned from release, was actually a prisoner of her attacker.

Although he admitted to some of the attacks, the 60-year-old, who worked for 27 years at a high school in Montreal, claimed two years in prison for being a good man.

After his release from prison, Sylvain Willamire, representing herself in court, said she wanted to get involved in the life of her young victim. According to Judge Label, the statements indicate that Wilmire did not follow through on his actions and therefore represents a risk of recurrence.

This awkward affair began seven years ago, when Wilmire was on a trip to Africa when he met the victim’s mother at a resort in Grand-Basam, near Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

Agreement with mother

Sylvain Wilmeyer, who pays the mother to bring the girl back to the country, is said to have secured her education. In September 2015, the baby came to Montreal, where she lived alone in her apartment with Willemeyer. Quickly, he gestured towards her for a sexual nature.

When things get worse and the child rebels, Williamir threatens to send her back to Africa. He showed her a contract signed with her mother – who entered the evidence during the trial – and she was well aware of the accused’s sexual expectations.

More than 8,000 files related to child pornography were found in computer equipment seized by investigators from the home of the accused.
