So, next Monday, July 12 at 12:01 am, the distance to be protected between persons with other residences will be reduced from two meters to one meter, indoors and outdoors.

However, the Ministry of Health and Social Services said in a statement that two meters is still required for high-intensity activities and singing activities in gyms.

In addition, retailers will no longer have a limit on the number of customers, except that the owner must ensure that a meter distance can be maintained between customers who do not reside at the same address.

Visitors with fixed seats, indoor or outdoor access areas, are required to leave a free seat between persons who do not reside at the same address. Similarly, in the common areas of these places, a distance of one meter should be maintained.

For sports and leisure activities where spectators are seated on the stand, the number of persons allowed is 50 indoors and 100 outdoors.

The Department of Health and Social Services points out that wearing a mask is mandatory in public places, such as retail, as it currently stands.

Until the measures take effect, the Commission des Protocols, de l’Sonca and de la Sacr டுto du Trave (CNEST) will distribute the necessary documents to guide employers in applying these new rules. Workplaces.
